The managing directors and owners, Carl Mocnik and Maria Morton, have almost 40 years of combined industry experience in the areas of business development, marketing, project management, commercial and general management.
Maria Morton
Prior to joining Plenty Systems, Maria was the general manager of a leading registered training organisation and, before this, an international university lecturer in marketing and public relations.
She has held senior marketing, public relations and communications roles within the education, health, government, mining and resource sectors. Maria’s expertise is in marketing high-volume / lower-value goods and services.
Maria's qualifications include a Bachelor in Journalism and Communications and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communication. Maria is also a member of the Australian Marketing Institute.
Carl Mocnik
Carl has held various marketing and project roles which include commercial manager of Australia’s largest electrical transmission and distribution manufacturer. Prior to this he managed the bid and delivery of projects to the value of $10M, primarily within the defence and aerospace sectors in Australia and the United States. Carl's expertise is in marketing low-volume / high-value goods.
Carl and Maria are both avid explorers and have spent a number of years living and working outside of Australia – including the USA, Africa, Asia, Papua New Guinea and South America. They employ a friendly, down-to-earth approach to doing business; after all, the journey should be as enjoyable as the destination.
