JobsAssist Government funding

State government assistance available to Queensland SMEs

Plenty Systems is proud to be an approved provider to the Queensland State Government JobsAssist program. Government assistance up to $8,000 (available in two stages worth $3000 and $5000) is available to eligible Queensland businesses for the provision of our business analysis and business development services.  This program allows us to perform a thorough diagnosis and assessment of the key issues impacting the business and to develop an action plan to help the owner create strategies and activities which improve the business model. At no cost to our clients!

Although there are several consultancies accredited under the program, we are within the four largest consultancies, having assisted over 130 businesses since the program’s inception in late 2009.

Although the program is namged JobsAssist, it is squarely aimed at improving the sustainability of Queensland SMEs.

Applications are typically taking about a fortnight to be approved, after which we provide the services of our business analysts—and at no cost to our clients.

We develop practical business action plans and have the manpower to help implement the strategies and solutions. Our business services are delivered by a team of experienced executives who have successful track records in growing businesses, and who have held previous roles such as general manager, commercial manager and marketing managers—state and national—for large and iconic national and international companies such as British Telecom, Reuters and Queensland Rail. The quality of our staff is what enables Plenty Systems to deliver highly effective and measurable business growth and business development solutions to our clients.

JobsAssist funding

The Queensland state government is providing the funding for the delivery of our services to Queensland businesses who have 10 or more full time equivalent employees,  are located within targeted localities or industries (described below), and who are financially vulnerable.

The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovations (DEEDI)—who administers the $10M of JobsAssist funds—aims to prevent job losses in vulnerable businesses, sustain or improve current levels of employment, and to employ a program of early intervention by providing access to professional and high-level business development assistance.

JobsAssist support

Support is provided in two stages:

Stage 1 consists of up to $3,000 funding for the diagnosis and assessment of the key issues impacting the business and to develop an action plan to help the owner create strategies and activities which improve the business model.

Stage 2 consists of up to an additional $5,000 funding to engage our consultants to mentor, provide advice and to assist with implementation of the priority tasks identified in the stage 1 action plan.
